Les troubles psychologiques semblaient \u00eatre en quelque sorte une part intrins\u00e8que de la personne et lui appartenir en propre. L&rsquo;article de 1956 portant sur la schizophr\u00e9nie propose une nouvelle perspective sur cette maladie. Il sugg\u00e8re que la schizophr\u00e9nie ne d\u00e9coule pas seulement d&rsquo;un trouble exclusivement li\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;individu, mais plut\u00f4t d&rsquo;une perturbation dans la relation, engendrant de la confusion. Cette confusion est si intense que l&rsquo;individu n&rsquo;a pas d&rsquo;autre option que d&rsquo;adapter ses comportements aux messages confus qu&rsquo;il re\u00e7oit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><b>Ex <\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">consid\u00e9rons une situation o\u00f9 une m\u00e8re demande \u00e0 son fils de s&rsquo;approcher pour l&#8217;embrasser. Cependant, au moment o\u00f9 le fils s&rsquo;approche, la m\u00e8re recule l\u00e9g\u00e8rement. Cette interaction envoie deux messages contradictoires \u00e0 l&rsquo;enfant : d&rsquo;un c\u00f4t\u00e9, un message verbal explicite d&rsquo;affection et d&rsquo;amour, et de l&rsquo;autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, un message non verbal implicite de distance et de rejet.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L&rsquo;enfant se trouve donc face \u00e0 un dilemme : quelle r\u00e9ponse doit-il choisir ? Comment peut-il r\u00e9pondre de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 ne pas contrarier sa m\u00e8re tout en naviguant entre ces deux signaux contradictoires ? Dans cette perspective relationnelle, le comportement de l&rsquo;enfant, s&rsquo;il pr\u00e9sente un d\u00e9doublement de personnalit\u00e9 en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 cette situation, n&rsquo;est plus \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer comme un dysfonctionnement, mais plut\u00f4t comme une r\u00e9ponse adaptative intelligente \u00e0 un contexte relationnel complexe et incoh\u00e9rent.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #012a7a;\">Cette histoire met en \u00e9vidence comment les interactions humaines peuvent cr\u00e9er des situations o\u00f9 des messages contradictoires poussent les individus \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des r\u00e9ponses comportementales qui, d&rsquo;un point de vue ext\u00e9rieur, pourraient sembler d\u00e9routantes.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #012a7a; text-decoration: underline;\"><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #012a7a; text-decoration: underline;\">Exemple : MESSAGE EXPLICITE MAIS MESSAGE IMPLICITE<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On veut que je sois autonome <span style=\"color: #012a7a;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">MAIS<\/span><br \/><\/span>Je suis tenu de faire ce qu&rsquo;on me demande.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0On veut que je sois responsable <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #012a7a; text-decoration: underline;\">MAIS<br \/><\/span><\/span>Je ne\u00a0 fixe ni les d\u00e9lais ni les moyens.<\/p>\n<p><em>On veut que je sois un bon manager<\/em> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #012a7a; text-decoration: underline;\">MAIS<br \/><\/span><\/span>\u00e7a ne rentre pas en ligne de compte dans mon \u00e9valuation.<\/p>\n<p>On veut que je cr\u00e9e du collectif <span><span style=\"color: #012a7a;\">MAIS<br \/><\/span><\/span>les \u00e9quipes n&rsquo;ont pas de budget.<\/p>\n<p>On veut que je fasse preuve de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #012a7a; text-decoration: underline;\">MAIS<\/span><em><span style=\"color: #012a7a; text-decoration: underline;\"><br \/><\/span><\/em><\/span>je dois respecter les normes, les processus, les contr\u00f4les.<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Comme le souligne <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px; color: #012a7a;\"><strong>Michel Crozier<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">, principal concepteur de l&rsquo;analyse strat\u00e9gique et de l&rsquo;action collective en sociologie des organisations, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">le pouvoir est fond\u00e9 sur la comp\u00e9tence \u00e0 susciter de l&rsquo;incertitude chez autrui : par exemple, le bureaucrate pointilleux d\u00e9tient du pouvoir sur nous lorsque nous d\u00e9pendons de sa bienveillance pour que notre dossier soit trait\u00e9 en temps voulu.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #012a7a;\"><strong>\u00c9tablir une situation de double contrainte constitue une m\u00e9thode pour devenir impr\u00e9visible aux yeux d&rsquo;autrui, et ainsi maintenir une emprise sur lui.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Le concept de double contrainte propose de changer notre perspective sur le comportement des individus<strong>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Traditionnellement, dans la <span style=\"color: #012a7a;\"><strong>perspective psychologique interne pr\u00e9dominante<\/strong>, <strong>les comportements inappropri\u00e9s sont per\u00e7us comme irrationnels.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #012a7a;\">En revanche, dans une perspective interactionnelle (syst\u00e9mique), ces comportements sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme rationnels et logiques<\/span>,<\/strong> attribu\u00e9s non pas \u00e0 un individu, mais \u00e0 une dynamique relationnelle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Il est important d&rsquo;analyser la boucle relationnelle plut\u00f4t que de se concentrer uniquement sur la personne qui pr\u00e9sente les sympt\u00f4mes.<\/p>\n<p>R\u00e9soudre une situation de double contrainte peut se faire de deux mani\u00e8res : <strong><span style=\"color: #012a7a;\">soit en abordant directement la double contrainte elle-m\u00eame, soit en se focalisant sur les sympt\u00f4mes tels que le stress, la d\u00e9motivation, la perte d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie, le sentiment d&rsquo;impuissance, et l&rsquo;enfermement. Dans ce dernier cas, il est possible de nommer la double contrainte afin de travailler sur la r\u00e9duction de l&rsquo;\u00e9cart entre la communication verbale et non-verbale.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inconsolata;
